Tom Geister studied architecture in Dortmund and Berlin, where he graduated from the Technical University in 1999.

In the same year he joined Sauerbruch Hutton. His focus is on the management of competitions and projects in the early development and design phases. From 2013 to 2015 he taught as a guest lecturer at the University of the Arts, Berlin. Since 2010 he has been an associate and member of the managing board. Tom became a partner in 2020.
