Philipp Hesse studied at the Technische Universität in Dresden and Cottbus and obtained his Diploma from the Universität der Künste in Berlin in 2005. From 2005 to 2008 he lived in Leipzig where he gained experience at various offices in the fields of architecture, interior design and exhibition planning.

After that, he started working freelance in Berlin. In 2010 Philipp joined Sauerbruch Hutton, where his main responsibility lies in facade planning, accompanying projects from competition to building completion. Philip became an asscociate in 2020.
