Jürgen Bartenschlag received his diploma in architecture in 1995 from the Technical University of Berlin. From 1991 to 1999 he worked in various German offices in all planning areas.

He joined Sauerbruch Hutton in 2000 and has been responsible for the management of projects in various phases ever since. As head of realisation management and internal office quality management for facades, shell construction including timber construction, interior finishing and technical building services, he is responsible for various project tasks and sizes. Jürgen regularly gives guest lectures at universities and at symposia. He has been an associate and member of the managing board since 2005. He became a partner in 2020.
