Jörg Maier studied in Stuttgart and London and graduated from the University of East London in 2002. From 2000 to 2011 he lived in London, where he worked for Witherford Watson Mann Architects, and later for Schneider and Schumacher in Frankfurt am Main.

Jörg joined Sauerbruch Hutton in 2015 as a project architect with focus on implementation planning. As quality manager for finishes and building services, he is engaged in a wide range of projects. Jörg became an associate in 2020.
