Axel Ibarroule graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo in 2013. During that time and until 2014, he served as an assistant professor at the same institution.

He joined Sauerbruch Hutton in 2015. As a project manager, he focuses primarily on hospitality, residential and mixed-use projects. He contributes to the office’s internal development through initiatives in digital workflows, staff training, and strategic planning. Axel has been an Associate at Sauerbruch Hutton since 2025.
